5 TIPS FOR A FITTER, FRESHER YOU!

With the temperatures slowly and gradually rising- everyone’s hitting the gym to shed off those extra pounds. Wouldn’t it be great if we could feel fresh and fit without sweating it out for hours?

Here are 5 simple tips which can help you feel fitter and fresher this summers with just making a few changes in your daily routine:

GO GREEN

Eat (or better) drink veggies. They’re awesome for reducing inflammation, give you lots of fiber, cleanse the body and keep you fuller for longer. Not a fan of all those greens?- make a fun green smoothie instead!

STEP IT UP

Walk. Before any fitness challenge was invented- people used to walk, and walk a lot. Keep it slow, enjoy the outdoors, listen to your favorite track- and forget about counting your steps and calories! Just walk.

EAT THAT MEAT

Organic protein sources will keep you energized and fuller for longer so you don’t feel the need to snack every 2 hours.

LEAN BEANS

Skip the bread and rice and switch to white kidney beans, red beans, lentils, or quinoa to give you more energy. Spice it up and experiment with different recipes so that your food tastes great!

MEDITATE

Feeling good is as important as looking good. Do simple things that uplift your mood and spirit and keep you positive and focused. Read something inspirational, practice deep breathing and avoid energy vampires
